I take on a variety of jobs (listed right). In all cases the same level of quality service applies to make the process as easy as possible.
Before the job
If you are in the market for a larger job such as an extension it helps if you have plans approved for the work. If not then I can give you a verbal rough estimate over the phone to help you set a budget, depending on the quality of materials to be used on the project. This is usually a balance of what you would like aesthetically, and what will fit with the existing property.
In all cases I will first of all seek to understand your needs in order to present you with suitable options. I will make recommendations based on quality and practicality, and give you help and advice so that you can make the right decision with confidence.
Once plans are in place I will visit the site, carry out a full inspection and prepare a fixed price quotation for the job.
During the job
The fun starts! With any amount of building work there is an element of disruption and inconvenience. I understand that this can be stressful and so do my best to set your expectations at the start and keep you informed as the job progresses. I do my best to allay any fears you may have and pre-empt any issues that may arise during the course of the job. You can’t always foretell what will happen, but experience is everything, and you can be sure of clear communication at all times… just so long as the kettle is working!
Whilst I can’t guarantee there won’t be some dust, I keep the work area clean and tidy, with minimal impact to other living areas.
After the job
All prices cover waste management so you can be sure that you will not be left with any unsightly piles of debris to clear up after I have left. I pride myself on my work and always leave the job looking its best!
